Overheard at my house this weekend: "Now it feels like we are just waiting for him to get here."
Overheard at work many times over the past 2 weeks: "How long before the baby comes are you going to take off of work?" (Answer: Plan is, to work until I go into labor!)
Our minds are all on this little baby getting here. He has 6 more weeks left to grow big and healthy. But it's feeling more and more like the right time. The nursery's all ready, the baby clothes are washed, the hospital bags are packed. I wake up off and on at night with Braxton Hicks contractions. Yesterday, my doctor told me to call her for any of a long list of reasons, including contractions, fluid loss, or decrease in baby's movement.
I'm thankful for some things to keep my mind off of the waiting: Easter weekend, childbirth class April 18, and a baby shower for a good friend the next weekend. However, in May, you might catch me scrubbing the tile in the kitchen to pass the time. :)
